BBC Launch 'SuperPower' Season

The BBC World Service has just launched a new two week 'SuperPower' season. It explores just how the internet has transformed our lives worldwide with a series of programmes and documentaries on both television and radio launching on 8th March 2010.

Who'd have thought that almost 20 years ago that a British engineer was on the verge of changing the world.

There are lots of interesting online articles, one of which highlights something that I'm sure many of us would very sadly find difficult to do - Go without the Internet for one week!
